Entities come in equally handy when researching new topics and when gleaning new insights from tired topics; you can map your main item of inquiry to related entities.
A common way people do this is with Wikipedia articles by considering a link from one page to another page as a connection (a similar concept to Google’s Page Rank algorithm). Beyond being useful toward research, covering and connecting related entities helps with search engine optimization since most modern search engines incorporate knowledge graphs in some way (which typically utilize entity relation models).
Whatever you’re use of entities, here’s a list of useful entity-related tools that help you find or explore entities:
- Google images (Google your parent query, go to Google Images, and check the keywords near the top of the page which amount to related topics/entities)
